Guided walks “sentieri in compagnia”

The crafts of the mountains – Guided tours

In these legendary places, surrounded by uncontaminated nature, lives a thriving world of businesses and individuals who keep the values and traditions of their territory alive through their skilled work.

Sophisticated items of interior décor in wood, hand carved bas-relief woodcuts and delicious products with the unique, intense flavours of the mountain, all of which made with the meticulous care of artisans using time-honoured techniques interpreted, at times, in a modern key.
A tangible passion and a natural, genuine warmth, clear-cut ideas and absolute mastery of the craft – with its immense creativity and deeply human element – are values that you will discover in the many artisan workshops scattered around the valley.

Every Friday, from July the 1st to september the 2nd 2011

Tours of the local artisan workshops will be accompanied by a guide who will explain the unique character of each of the towns in the valley and describe the deep bond between the local people and artisan crafts.
You will be given an opportunity to discover the secrets of the artisans of the Val di Fiemme in their own workshops, amid the scents and aromas of wood and speck, seeing handcrafted processes for yourself, tasting delicious local products and marvelling at beautiful items of furniture and traditional decorative sculptures
