For more than 50 years the trails in Lago di Tesero have been a great place for practicing cross-country skiing.

Its enviable position and its consolidated experience in artificial snow production, also thanks to a cutting-edge system, guarantee perfect tracks. For this reason the centre is open from December to the middle of March, despite it is located only 850 m above sea level.
The permanents trails are connected with the MARCIALONGA track and a powerful lightning system allows night skiing.

This centre offers over 18 Km of tracks, site of the 1991 and 2003 world championships, it will host its third World Championships in 2013.

Length and types of cross-country skiing tracks :

Classical: 10 Km

Freestyle: 10 Km
Floodlit track: 2 Km

The centre also offers an ice skating rink, equipment rental, changing rooms with showers and toilets, ski-waxing rooms and a nice restaurant.

In view of the Nordic World Ski Championships of 2013 the stadium has had major restyling changes, in order to improve trails and the surrounding facilities.
The stadium’s project, whose works started in the summer of 2010, foresees the construction of: a 2.000 mq large warehouse to be used during the competitions as TV-production equipments storage, a two-storey building for TV speakers, a ski roll ring, a little shooting range for biathlon, and a building for the press.
All the buildings will be completed before the PRE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS in 2012, an important test before the Nordic World Ski Championships of 2013.
