Lavazè Cross Country Skiing Centre
The Lavazè Cross Country Skiing Centre has always been a point of reference for nordic ski enthusiasts.
Located at Passo Lavazé, on a plateau between Trentino and South Tyrol, with its over 80 Km of trails, perfectly prepared by a professional technical staff, and the numerous itineraries, the centre is able to satisfy skilled skiers and beginners alike.
The enchanting sight from the pass, the natural environment surrounding the tracks and the sun shining on most of the ski circuit, are the main features of the place, ideal destination for all enthusiasts of this sport. 
Easy to reach from the main towns in the region (70 km away from Trento and less than 30 km from Bolzano) and only a few km away from motorway exits (35 km from exit Ora/Egna and 25 from Bolzano Nord), the centre provides many services, including a waxing room, a changing room with toilets and showers, a big hall often used for prizegiving ceremonies and an efficient waxing service, a large parking area with sufficient space for up to 2000 cars, several SOS posts with radiophone to get immediately in contact with a rescue team. Grip wax and a few useful tools for temporary equipment repair are also available at the SOS posts.
THE CONNECTION WITH OCLINI, located at a slightly higher altitude, has furtherly increased the number of possible itineraries, and also allowed tha practice of skiing until Spring.
The Aldino Cross Country Skiing Centre and the renowned Sanctuary of Pietralba (Weissenstein) are easy to reach from Passo Lavazè. A few typical mountain malgas are dotted along the most popular routes and are ready to welcome you with their traditional dishes. From the coming season it will also be possible to reach some of them on foot or snowshoes, along a few paths expressly designed for enchanting walks.

On these trails takes place the LAVAZELOPPET, a traditional international cross-country ski race with classic technique, which anticipates the Marcialonga, “the queen of cross-country ski marathons” of just a few days.
Laser Biathlon:
In Passo Lavazè since winter 2010 you can experience the excitement of being a biathlete!
The shooting areas are set with electric targets, which are activated by a codified laser ray coming from the provided rifle. This new technology reduces all risks related to the use of fire weapons.

Gymkhana
The news is ready! After lots of snow, and even manual work of the Lavazè' staff, the "gymkhana Lavazè'" is officially open. A path of about 500 m, rather short, but very tough, which aims to significantly increase of all abilities and the balance of cross country skiers.
The course is designed primarily to entertain young people (parabolic curves, rapid trail changes, downhill bumps, tough climbs, etc.), but even the most grown will have fun.
