It is considered one of the best in the world, complete with big and small hills.

In Predazzo, Val di Fiemme, stands the great ski jumping stadium, which starting from the World Cup competitions of 1990, has hosted several international and national events such as the Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined World Championships in 1991 and 2003.

The facilities usage is permitted only during competitions and trainings: foreign and Italian teams take advantage of this chance and athletes can be seen jumping directly from the main road which crosses Val di Fiemme.

In May 2008, the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 have been assigned to Val di Fiemme: this will give a new impulse to the ski jumping stadium.
Several improvement works will be done to the stadium, such as: the enlargement of the press room and meeting rooms, Coppa del Mondo di Salto con gli sci Val di Fiemme new offices for the Organizing Committee, the Marcialonga and FIS; a VIP area; a gym; new warehouses; the building of a new indoor parking for trail groomers; a new refrigerating system for the hills; a renewal of the HS 67 hill; an improvement of the judges tower, of the artificial snow system and the electrical system.
Thanks to these improvements, chose with accuracy and safeguarding the environment, the Ski Jumping Stadium in Predazzo will welcome the Nordic combined and ski jumping athletes with its new look during the PRE WORLD CHIAMPIONSHIPS in 2012 and then during the World Championships in 2013. Following these two major events, the ski jumping stadium will become a reference point on an international scale for these amazing sports.
A lot of care was deserved to the public with the creation of large parking lots, natural stands on the sides of the hills, a wide parterre and concrete stands in the finishing area: all this holds up to 15.000 spectators.
