Some tips to set out into boundless spaces:

Predazzo-Gruppo del LatemarPanorama 360

The Latemar lift facilities departing from Predazzo rise up to the Gardoné refuge, where from a terrace in the sun, lying on deckchairs and chaises longues, one may admire the view on the ocean of mountains of the Lagorai chain. The refuge cuisine proposes “Penne Baita Gardoné” with fresh tomato sauce, rocket and cheese, then pork chops and a delicious dessert named “Riviera”.
Near the refuge is oneAlpine Cosster the sledge roller coaster of the most entertaining attractions in the Dolomites: the ALPINE COASTER Gardoné. It is a sledge roller coaster for crazy descents across the forest along a kilometre of jumps, bends and parabolas among the trees. While the young have fun in the sand playing beach volley, smaller children enjoy the pistes for Tubby inflatables, the “Realm of Dragons” playground, the kindergarten and fanciful entertainment. MTB lovers may explore the Route of the Spirits across the wood, a trail also suitable for kids (Latemar, Obereggen, Carezza Lake, Moena, Predazzo).
A chair lift carries up to refuge Passo Feudo (2,175 m) where the view embraces the Alps, mounts Marmolada, Civetta, Pelmo, Pale di San Martino, the Lagorai chain, Adamello, Brenta and the Austrian Alps.
The local cuisine, simple but refined, amazes the palate with its creative menu proposing, for example, purple ravioli with blueberries.
Many itineraries depart from the refuge, such as the Dolomite Geological Route, to find out the marks left by the sea, and the trail leading to the so-called Torre di Pisa, one of the most mysterious rock sculptures across the Dolomites. At the refuge Torre di Pisa (2,672 m a.s.l.) it is also possible to stay overnight and watch the sunrise painting the Dolomites pink.
The Latemar mountain guides are available for free suggestive itineraries in the area.

Alpe di Pampeago

The Latemar chair lift departing from Pampeago brings up to the Zischgalm refuge, with its tasty shepherd’s macaroni, polenta, goulasch, canederli, strudel and homemade cakes, and to the Ganischgeralm refuge, renown for its Trentino and Southtyrolean specialties: spinach tortelloni, doughnuts, apple fritters, omelettes.
Latemar TrekkingMany excursions lead from here to Obereggen and Feudo Pass to admire the southern side of Marmolada, the Cima Uomo and the peaks of Costabella, Antelao, Pelmo, Civetta, Pale di San Martino, the Lagorai chain, Brenta and Ortles.
The Pala Santa tour, reaching the Pampeago and Lavazé passes opposite the Latemar group, is simply stunning. Cima di Santa stretches out like a wide grassy gentle slope, inhabited by partridges and chamois and watched over by ravens.
A panoramic view on Val di Fiemme can be admired from the cross of Mount Cornon, past Mount Agnello.
The creeping mugho pine invades the upper Cornon, accessible from Alpe di Pampeago via a dirt road. The track climbs up to Porta, then follows along the ridge and proceeds at high altitude in an alpine environment of suggestive solitude, not so rarely crossed by eagles in flight.
Further ups and downs bring to the Dos dai Branchi or ‘Baranci’ (which means mugho pine in the local dialect), then to the Cornacci dominating the town of Tesero and offering an overall view on the middle and lower Val di Fiemme and the Lagorai chain. From the saddle before the Cornacci, the descent rapidly directs towards Stava, along the Val del Slavin, crossing ancient grassy spaces rich in blueberries and mixed conifers, from which the black grouse raises up loud its courtship songs.

Alpe Cermis

Panoramic telpher cars of latest generation reach Alpe Cermis. The first stop during the silent journey across the top of the trees is Doss dei Laresi (1,276 m a.s.l.), with its cosy refuge proposing a tasty woodman dish consisting of polenta, cheese and sausages or mixed grill.
Cermislandia playground in the mountainsOn a wide meadow, in front of the refuge, the magic realm of CERMISLANDIA spreads out with its water games and many attractions for children. The kindergarten staff entertain all kids with picnics, treasure hunts and many more games in the open air.

From here it is possible to walk or ride down to agritur Salanzada, or else climb up (via telpher) to the Eurotel and taste its mugho cookies or its lavender cake. Here is also the starting point of a botanical route to be walked in the company of a mountain guide.
The chair lifts rises higher to refuge Paion (2,230 m a.s.l.) and its tempting giant cakes. The menu also proposes spaghetti with fish, salted meat, pork leg, Bellavista salmon (cooked whole and garnished) or the Paion dish with polenta, mushrooms, melted cheese and sausage.
The view from the terrace is an extraordinary 360 degree panorama embracing the peaks of Latemar, Catinaccio, Sasso Piatto, Sassolungo, the Sella massif, the southern side of Marmolada, the Pale di S. Martino chain, the Brenta group, Cevedale, Ortles and even further to  the Venosta Alps.

Amazing excursions lead to the Bombasel lakes, the Lagorai little lakes and to Lake Lagorai.
The alpine guides on mount Cermis are available for free suggestive itineraries.

Bellamonte-Alpe Lusia

The chair lifts departing from Bellamonte follow the outline of PANEVEGGIO Nature PARK, caressing the branches of the sounding fir trees. Everywhere is a triumph of glimpses into the Pale di San Martino mountain range. The most enthralling view is at 2,000 m of altitude, from refuge Lusia (accessible via two separate chair lift facilities).
Bellamonte Alpe lusiaOn one side, the view embraces the lower Val di Fassa, the Latemar, the Catinaccio group and the Monzoni chain.
On the other side, the Lagorai chain, the Pale di San Martino and the entire area of Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Nature Park. Refuge Lusia offers the opportunity to spend the night in one of its seven rooms with toilet facilities to enjoy a pink sunrise on the Dolomites.

The mountain peaks from Lusia pass to Cima Bocche, above the San Pellegrino valley, are studded with marks from the Great War.
The mountain guides organize free excursions along the most enthralling itineraries.
Refuge Ciamp de le Strie proposes tasty menus with polenta dumplings, mushroom tagliatelle, spätzle, goulasch, sausages, polenta, mushrooms, roe deer and strudel.
Baita Cervo prepares traditional dishes such as mushroom pappardelle, canederli, strangolapreti, polenta, homemade cakes and omelettes.
The specialties of refuge El Zirmo are a first course composition with a malga cheese and lemon risotto, tortelloni with porcini and canederli soaked in a game sauce; the Castelir dish "Polenta from Valsugana”, traditional Fiemme cheese, grilled speck and local mushrooms cooked with oil, parsley and garlic; Trentino apple fritters with cranberries.
