A short walk in the deciduous and coniferous forest.
Views of the Val di Cembra and, in the distance, the Paganella, alternate with the colors of the forest in the different seasons of the year. The shades offered by the lush nature of the place range from the intense green of summer to the amber yellow of autumn. A walk in the silence of one of the ten small hamlets that make up the municipality of Valfloriana.

Reached the turning point, a few more steps lead to a small stream. Take your time to enjoy its coolness.
THE 10 RULES FOR HIKERS
As you can imagine, the passability of routes in a mountain environment is closely linked to current conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this sheet may have changed. Before departing, check the state of the route by contacting the manager of the refuges on your route, alpine guides, natural park visitor centers, and tourist offices.
Starting from the little church of Dorà, we walk uphill on the paved road leaving behind the last charming houses immediately. Looking to the right, you can see the wooded slopes of the Val di Cembra, the small village of Grumes, and the Paganella. We then enter a beautiful deciduous forest. Upon reaching the clearing where logs are often piled up, ignore the paved road uphill to take the obvious dirt road on the right. We follow the forest road, ignoring the first steep fork on the right. The road continues downhill where the second fork marking the turning point is encountered. Before turning back, we walk to the small stream, breathing in the scent of the damp forest. We retrace our steps and take the clear path on the left which, flanked by a low wall, leads to the enclosures of horses and alpacas. The route then crosses the small village of Dorà, where we notice some ancient houses built with porphyry stones, a drinking fountain, and a fresco on the house to the left near the little church.
Reach Casatta on SP71 and follow the signs to Dorà.
