Chalet 44 Dolomites Lounge, a beautiful view from the terrace

Sun Terrace in the snow

The suspended terrace in the snow at the Chalet 44 Dolomites Lounge restaurant in Bellamonte, entices its guests with a generous array of menu options.

Genuine traditional dishes from the Val di Fiemme and refined combinations of the best products from Trentino and all over Italy are served at the table.
You can try delicious grilled meats, with a carefully selected variety of both fine Italian and international wines. The kitchen also caters to vegetarians and celiacs. Children can be tempted by kid’s pizzas or dishes from the children’s menu such as polenta gnocchi with meat sauce, grilled sausages with chips and a myriad of desserts, from Linzer torte to Ricotta almond cake. Sure to catch the eye is the kaiserschmarrn - one of the most delicious desserts in the world - made with either cranberry jam or chocolate cream.

The chalet, which is at an altitude of 2,000 metres and overlooks the Pale di San Martino and the Lagorai mountain range, is just starting out and is already among the most visited in the Val di Fiemme. The large terrace, designed to shelter from the northeast wind, has a glass railing which creates the same effect as an infinity pool. Chalet 44 Dolomites Lounge is situated at the arrival of the Bellamonte 3.0 Cableway. On approach, its intriguing design elements become immediately apparent. A pair of stylised red tulips wave from the terrace. Elegant and simple lines with large windows, black metal sheets and aged wood frame the external appearance. Inside the chalet the old wooden log cabin, the refined fabrics and the fireplace create a warm alpine setting among orange lamps, deer head silhouettes on the walls and pine-green velvet chairs. Chalet 44 offers the possibility to book both dinners and private events through reservations
