Land Art
The art park RespirArt is in Pampeago, at 2.200 m of altitude
Along the 3 km loop path, 27 art installations perfectly blend in with the Dolomites peaks of Latemar. The park, which can be reached with the Agnello chairlift, attracts artists from all over the world. Completing their art masterpieces are the sun, wind, rain and snow.
Every summer, new art installations join the old ones, during concerts and literary events organized at the outdoor Theatre of Latemar, in front of Baita Caserina. Some installations can be seen even in winter from the ski slope Agnello of Ski Center Latemar.
This year, the environmental art event RespirArt 2020 will host four international artists: Patrizia Giambi, Jano Sicura, Gabriele Meneguzzi and Vincenzo Sponga.
Their art installations will be inaugurated by the journalist and famous newscaster of Tg2 Maria Concetta Mattei on RespirArt Day, the travelling celebration taking place on Saturday, 25 July 2020.
The art park, curated by Marco Nones and Beatrice Calamari, can be reached with a 30 minute walk from the parking of the chairlift Tresca in Pampeago. During the summer you can also take the chairlift Agnello, open few days a week.
