VISITING MALGAS
In Val di Fiemme on Wednesdays you can spend your time in a malga, among meadows, unpolluted grazing lands and genuine flavours.
The excursions “Andar per Malga – Visiting malgas” are included in the FiemmE-Motion Summer Card and planned every other Wednesday. The destinations are Malga Sass and Malga Sadole. Once reached the malga, you spend the whole day with farm animals, taste their products and you can even try to steal some ancient culinary secret.
DAYBREAK IN THE MALGA
Each summer, the initiative attended in Trentino “Daybreaks in a Malga” takes place in Val di Fiemme to offer a total immersion into ancient atmospheres. The day before, you have a pleasant excursion to the malga, where you can taste a typical dinner cooked by the owners of the malga. Next morning, the alarm clock is set at five am. But don't think you will enjoy the daybreak in your bed, because waking up at five in the morning means fulfilling some farming tasks, such as going with the cows to the stable and milk them.
IN MALGA WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN
The real life in a malga begins at the sunrise. Let’s get ready to milk the cows. The appointments with Sunrises in a Malga and Sunsets in a Malga introduce to a shepherd’s world made of milking, cheesemaking, pastures and wholesome breakfasts when the sun is rising. We have organized many midweek or weekend dates to sleep in a malga and to enjoy this unique experience!
