The art in Nature for Nature
“Respirart” is one of the highest art park in the world. It is a loop path which starts in Pampeago from 2.000 meters asl. and finishes at 2200 mt. The art installations are housed in meadows at the feet of the Dolomite peaks of Latemar, that Unesco declared a World Heritage Site. One of the masterpieces created by international artists, is Hidetoshi Nasasawa's, a real leading figure in the world of art.
Each summer, new art installations “come to surface” and, in the outdoor Theatre of Latemar, in front of Baita Caserina they organize concerts and literary meetings. Some of them can be also admired in the wintertime from the ski slope Ski Center Latemar “Agnello” and from the chair lift.
The creative attitude of “letting go” works of art in nature invites to rely upon changes and, therefore, upon constantly changing life. Weather conditions don’t ruin art, but they complete them by shaping them and modifying their colours. RespirArt is an invitation to get relaxed in the regular changeability of life.
The Park, generated by Marco Nones and Beatrice Calamari, can be reached from the parking of the chairlift Tresca of Pampeago after a 30-minute-long walk. During the summer, some days of the weeks you can get up there by the chairlift Agnello.
