After two years, the traditional Desmontegada de le Vache di Predazzo is back, with cows decorated with flowers parading along town.

On Saturday and Sunday, the Festival of Taste will take place on the main square, with stands serving local food and drinks, workshops for kids and cooking demos.

This year, besides cheese, also honey by the local beekeepers from Fiemme, Fassa and Cembra will be part of the event, with a dedicated contest, workshop and tastings.

 

Additionally, on the unique Train of Taste you can experience a journey through flavors, taking part in a guided visit to a farm followed by a cheese tasting at the Bistrò Shop & Bar of the Predazzo and Moena cheese factory.


From September 29 to October 9, don’t miss the food festival “Autunno in Tavola”: come and try the delicious menus at the participating restaurants, agritur and hotels of Val di Fiemme, partners of Strada dei Formaggi delle Dolomiti and the club Tradition & Taste.

The main ingredient used by chefs will be the soft cheese Gradevole of the Predazzo and Moena cheese factory.

At 4.00 pm TRAIN OF TASTE

On the unique Train of Taste you can experience a journey through flavors: at the first stop you will be taking part in a guided visit to a farm to see how farmers get ready for the Sunday parade, decorating their cows with flowers and ribbons.

Then, enjoy an aperitif with cheese and finger food with jams, honey and a glass of Trentodoc at the Bistrò Shop & Bar of the Predazzo and Moena cheese factory with an expert cheese taster.

€ 15 adults, € 8 kids under 10

At 5.30 pm COOKING DEMO

Val di Fiemme chefs will challenge themselves in a cooking demo on the main square S.S. Filippo e Giacomo. They will cook and prepare dishes with local products, inspired to the tradition but with a hint of innovation. At the end of the demo, you can enjoy their dishes (with fee).

 

 

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 2

Predazzo is ready to celebrate cows, decorated with flowers, coming back from the summer pastures: the parade starts at the sports field, continues on via Lagorai, then through the town centre and arrives at the “party tent Ottagono”, near the swimming pool and the miniature golf.
