Ready, Get Set, Ski!
21/11/2019

Three ski lifts will be opening one week early thanks to abundant snowfall in Fiemme-Obereggen this November. The Agnello di Pampeago, Ferrari and Paradiso ski lifts in the Passo Rolle ski area will be welcoming visitors on the weekend of 23 and 24 November – the perfect opportunity for a sneak peek before the season officially starts. All other Fiemme-Obereggen ski areas will open on Saturday, 30 November, including Alpe Cermis, Bellamonte-Alpe Lusia and Latemar Ski Centre (and all connections between Predazzo, Pampeago and Obereggen).
5 NEW FEATURES TO ENJOY THIS SKI SEASON (2019-20) Enjoy well-designed ski runs and advanced technology in the Fiemme-Obereggen ski area this season. Along the 110km of perfectly snow-covered slopes open until April, you’ll find restaurants, chalets, cable cars and ski lifts designed to blend into the local landscape. Last year, we loved spending time at the new Chalet 44 Dolomites Lounge in the Bellamonte Alpe Lusia ski area with its glass windows immersed in the woods, as well as The Chalet in Alpe Cermis, set back into the natural stone, snow and wood landscape. Here’s some super fresh news about this year’s ski season in Fiemme.
1. LOOX: OBEREGGEN'S NEW APRÈS SKI CLUB
Obereggen valley station in the Latemar Ski Centre has got a new look. Loox is a new après ski club guaranteed to entertain skiers after sunset and well into the night. Its curved roof mimics the skyline of the Latemar massif, with a circular wooden centre piece that really catches the eye.
2. PININFARINA SKI LIFT
Obereggen’s 4-seater Reiterjoch ski lift has been replaced with a modern 8-seater ski lift designed by the international design firm Pininfarina, featuring an innovative safety device for smaller skiers.
3. IMPROVEMENTS TO SCHEDULED SNOW-MAKING ACTIVITIES
Latemar Ski Centre has further improved its entire snow-making system to guarantee pristine slopes from December to late April.
4. THE EPIRCHER LANER ALM REFUGE IS BACK IN ACTION
Epircher Laner really stands out in Obereggen’s Latemar Ski Centre thanks to its traditional architectural style. The wood stone hut is ready to welcome skiers back into a warm, contemporary alpine atmosphere.
5. 16 WORKS OF ART ON THE PAMPEAGO RUN
The Agnello di Pampeago slope in the Latemar Ski Centre has launched a fun photo ski-safari featuring 16 works of art that can also be seen from the Agnello ski lift. 11 additional works of art can be admired in the summer months by taking a stroll through RespirArt park. The most recent installation by art collective Terrae is dedicated to regenerating forests.
