Route not recommended in fog.
THE 10 RULES FOR HIKERS
The snowpack stability is subject to sudden and unpredictable changes. Always consult the avalanche bulletin and get well informed about the current conditions from the alpine guides in the area. The gpx tracks are purely indicative of the generally most sensible route, but must not be followed blindly without a preliminary evaluation of the slopes at that particular moment.
ASCENT From Malga Vallazza (1,935 m) head northwest along the Vallazza stream where summer trail no. 631 passes, reaching a plateau at about 2,150 m. Here there is a sign indicating the direction to Lake Juribrutto: ascend westwards to reach a flat area (2,286 m), then continue southwest and slightly downhill to reach the lake (2,206 m)
DESCENT Along the ascent route
Warm and waterproof winter clothing. Spare thermal shirt, gloves, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, snacks, mountain boots, and trekking poles.
It is MANDATORY to have avalanche self-rescue equipment, consisting of Artva-Shovel-Probe.
