A hike that, although quite short, offers fantastic views of the Pale di San Martino and the Lagorai Chain.
Classic hike frequented by both snowshoers and ski mountaineers. After the first stretch through Swiss pine and larch woods, the path develops on vegetation-free terrain. The plateau at 2,280 m offers a fantastic view of the Pale di San Martino. Upon reaching Lake Juribrutto, nestled in a basin, the view opens to the Lagorai Chain.

THE 10 RULES FOR HIKERS

  1. Study and prepare your itinerary well
  2. Choose a route suitable for your physical condition
  3. Bring appropriate clothing and equipment
  4. Check the weather forecast
  5. Going alone is risky, bring your mobile phone
  6. Leave information about your route and approximate return time
  7. If unsure, do not hesitate to rely on a professional
  8. Pay attention to indications and signs on the path
  9. If tired or in trouble, do not hesitate to turn back
  10. In case of an accident, call 112

The snowpack stability is subject to sudden and unpredictable changes. Always consult the avalanche bulletin and get well informed about the current conditions from the alpine guides in the area. The gpx tracks are purely indicative of the generally most sensible route, but must not be followed blindly without a preliminary evaluation of the slopes at that particular moment.
