Short bike tour, through the ancient vineyards, for lovers of genuine products related to tradition and to the discovery of cultural-artistic gems.

A ring-route designed for cycling but also practicable on foot (if you return on the same route). The watchword is 'enjoy': the views, the company, the nature, the tradition and the excellent food and wine of the Cembra Valley.

Starting from Lisignago, where you can already make a small diversions to see the small church of S. Leonardo, follow the roads along the terraced vineyards of the valley towards Cembra. Here you can sample the various local products, from meats to wines, from vinegar to grappa, and visit the ancient village where the church of San Pietro is worth a stop. The return trip will be a pleasant descent along the main road back to Lisignago.

Lisignago (car park near the main church)
Directions

The route starts in the village of Lisignago, near the main church where you can leave your car. From here it is possible, with a short diversions, to reach the small church of San Leonardo. Following the minor roads through the vineyards, without too much difference in altitude, you reach the Maso Besleri vinegar factory. From here, after a climb, you reach the village of Cembra, where you will find several food and wine outlets, first and foremost the Zanotelli Winery and the butcher's shop of the same name. Follow the main road to Cembra Cantina di Montagna and from here it is possible to make a short diversions into the historic centre of the village and reach the church of San Pietro. Following the side streets, you can encounter the various restaurants, as far as the Cavade farmhouse and the Pelz Winery below. For those who wish, from here it is possible to make a diversion among the magnificent terraced vineyards and apple orchards and reach the Silpaca breeding and wine farm. The return is along the provincial road to Lisignago or, for those who prefer, along the same route as the outward journey.
