Zambel Viewpoint

Loreto Square, Lavis

From Lavis, reach Piazza Loreto and keep left, following the signs for Dos Paion. After about 20 minutes you will reach the Zambel viewpoint. From here, you can decide whether to head back along the same path as the way there or, returning towards Dos Paion, continue the loop route following the signs for Lavis.

Urban bus no. 17: San Lazzaro Ponte Avisio stop

Intercity bus: lines B102, B104, B601, B611, B621, Lavis stop

Trento-Malè-Mezzana railway: Lavis stop

Lavis is located a few kilometers from Trento and can be reached easily:

From the South (Trento/Verona): Take the SS12 northbound to the Lavis exit, or the A22 highway, Trento Nord exit, and then follow the signs for Lavis/Val di Cembra.

From the North (Bolzano): Take the SS12 southbound to the Lavis exit, or the A22 highway, San Michele all’Adige exit, and then follow the SS12 towards Lavis/Val di Cembra.

From Val di Non/Sole: Take the SP235 towards Trento, Lavis exit.

You can leave your car in Piazza Loreto, or after crossing the Vòdi bridge you will find free parking spaces along Sponda Trentina. Alternatively: parking in Piazza Caduti di tutte le Guerre (paid) or at the Trento-Malè railway station (free and 1 km from Giardino dei Ciucioi).

Hiking shoes or boots, backpack containing: water, snacks and a rain jacket.
