Erica Cassano – The Great Thirst – ed. Garzanti
Anna is thirsty. The whole city has been thirsty for weeks. Some will call it the days of the Great Thirst, and others will remember them as the Four Days of Naples. It is 1943 and water is scarce everywhere, except in the house where Anna lives with her family. The great thirst is not easy to satisfy. It comes from within and speaks of independence and love for knowledge, and, above all, it speaks of the courage needed to be heard in a world that does not know how to listen.
