The comedy takes place in the house of the Honorable Trombone and addresses, in an ironic and satirical tone, highly relevant themes related to the world of politics. At the center of the story is the opportunistic and inconsistent behavior of many turncoats, ready to switch sides just to maintain power and privileges. The narrative tells of a parliamentarian arrested for shady dealings who, once freed, unscrupulously shifts to the opposing political faction, yet continues to behave exactly as before, thus exposing the hypocrisy of the system.
