Cecilia is a sailor, born and raised in the mountains of Trentino. Graduating in Cultural Heritage from the University of Trento, she has always loved the water, starting to sail in the first grade on the small Lake Caldonazzo.
In 2017, she joined the sports team of the Italian Navy to compete with the Nacra 17, a flying Olympic catamaran. After the four-year period, she approached offshore sailing, winning two world titles and two European titles. After an experience with The Ocean Race and a third place in the Admiral's Cup, she has recently completed her first Mini Transat, the culmination of the Cecilia in Oceano project, which aims to demonstrate that talent has no gender.
