Together with AMM Chiara Ioriatti we will discover the majestic coniferous forests that embrace the village of Montesover.
The hike, both challenging and rewarding, takes place mainly in the woods, where the shade of the trees offers a pleasant coolness.
Walking among larches, firs, and pines, we will reach the pastures of Malga Vernera, the only still occupied malga in Val di Cembra, where it will be possible to have a sweet refreshing break.
Organizational information:
- Meeting Sunday, July 19, 2026 at 09:45 at the Church of San Leonardo in Montesover see the location on Google Maps.
- Parking available at the meeting point.
- The route is approximately 8.5 km long with a height difference of about 700 meters.
- The return is expected around 5:30 p.m.
- Participation is free.
- During the hike, we will stop for an outdoor lunch. The lunch will be packed. We recommend bringing something to eat, plenty of water and a blanket to lay on the grass.
- We recommend wearing clothing suitable for hiking in the mountains, trekking shoes, trekking poles, and a rain jacket.
- Reservation required by Friday, July 17, 2026 or until places run out by filling out this form.
- We are happy to welcome four-legged friends during our hikes, but we ask you to notify us in advance so we can inform all participants.
- If anyone wishes to share the car with others, they can indicate this during the reservation process. The more we can reduce our environmental impact... the better!
