Saturday, August 8, 2026 in Grumes (Altavalle) starting at 7.00 p.m.
We will meet just before sunset and walk through the woods until we reach the Potzmauer Refuge, where a delicious dinner and the cheerful welcome of Sirio and Schevek await us.
After dinner, we will take some time to admire the sky show on the most magical night of summer, discovering curiosities and legends related to the stars: stars, constellations, and planets that are so far from us yet have always held a special fascination.
The less romantic can enjoy a rich selection of grappas!
NB: in Grumes, at the Baita Penna Nera (Masi Bassi) the Rock Gathering is celebrated! If you love rock, you know where to go at the end of the evening… it will be worth it
Organizational information:
- Meeting: 7.00 p.m. in Grumes – Masi Alti (Altavalle), at the parking lot in the Pradet locality. How to get there: coming from Cembra, continue along the state road 612 until you reach the village of Grumes. Do not enter the village but continue to the fork at the traffic light indicating “Masi di Grumes – Potzmauer Refuge”; here, turn left and continue straight towards the “Masi Alti” until the road ends in a clearing called Località Pradet (see directions on Google Maps).
- The walk lasts about 2 hours (round trip, including breaks) and has a total length of 5.5 km (round trip) with an elevation gain of about 350 meters.
- We recommend wearing suitable clothing for walking in the mountains, hiking shoes, trekking poles, and a headlamp.
- Cost: € 38 per person (to be paid at departure). Included: professional guidance, cultural interventions, insurance, dinner at the refuge. The dinner includes: a single dish (polenta with pork knuckle and cabbage or polenta with cheese and cabbage) + coffee, water, and wine.

- Return is expected around 11.00 p.m.
The event will also take place in uncertain weather and will be canceled only in case of particularly adverse weather conditions (in this case, registered participants will be notified by phone).
