Latemar trail experience

Two routes, two different mountain experiences:

Latemar Mountain race: 25 km

Latemar Trail experience: 16 km

The start for both routes will be given at Pampeago at an altitude of 1750 meters, near the starting point of the lifts. The first stretch will ascend on asphalt to the junction that will gradually raise the altitude to 2250 meters at Doss dei Branchi, before reaching the cross on Monte Cornon at an altitude of 2180 meters. The Trail Experience will instead turn towards Monte Agnello at Bassa (where the 1st refreshment point is also located), avoiding the stretch of Monte Cornon. From Bassa, the direction for the Mountain route is towards Monte Agnello at 2350 meters, with fluctuating elevation leading to Rifugio Passo Feudo, the starting point for the Latemar group, a new spectacular theater for the race. The Trail will arrive at Passo Feudo along a pleasant thematic path. The ascent will leave the meadows to delve into the rocks of Latemar. While the Trail Experience will divert at the foot of Latemar towards Obereggen, the LMR will pass in front of Rifugio Torre di Pisa at an altitude of 2672 meters, not far from the rock column that gives the refuge its name. In front of the competitor, the fabulous amphitheater of Latemar will open up, which will then be crossed by passing through the forcella dei Camosci (2560 meters). After a picturesque passage among the rocks, the descent begins towards the arrival station of the Oberholz chairlift in Obereggen, from which the famous path 22 starts, part of the Latemarium thematic route, a clever combination of art and fun. Gentle descent towards Rifugio Meierl (where the long route rejoins the Trail Experience) with the last refreshment point that will provide the energy to tackle the final 3 km of the race towards the finish line located at an altitude of 1750 meters.
