Hike at the foot of the glacier with the participation of glaciologist Anna Baldo
The association Vicini al Lgorai ODV presents "La Marmolada: hike at the foot of the glacier."
Anna Baldo, a glaciologist with a degree in Atmospheric and Cryospheric Sciences from the University of Innsbruck and formerly in charge of the Italian research station "dirigibile Italia" in the Svalbard Islands in the Arctic, as well as President of Girls on Ice Austria, will accompany hikers to discover the Marmolada Glacier.
The meeting is on Sunday, August 2, departing from Cavalese at 7.00 a.m. in front of Palafiemme.
The hike takes place in one day and has two levels of difficulty.
Registration is free but mandatory. Registration deadline is Monday, July 27.
