The spires of Latemar will serve as a backdrop, in the Tresca plain, in the Cornacci-Monte Agnello mountain group, for the awaited concert of Alash, masters of Tuvan throat singing (xöömei), an ancient vocal technique that allows for the production of multiple sounds simultaneously. Growing up in the musical tradition of Tuva, a region of Central Asia included in present-day Russian Federation, formed in the late 1990s at the Kyzyl Arts College, Alash blends the ancestral heritage of their land with contemporary influences and instruments, in line with the trends of world music, progressing in their research while never abandoning their roots. Invited to the United States in 2006 by the Open World program of the Library of Congress, they subsequently embarked on international tours and collaborations that range from jazz to beatboxing. Alongside their concerts, they promote workshops and educational activities, spreading the culture and song of Tuva around the world. The concert venue, at 2100 m., in the heart of the Fiemme Valley, is accessible by the Agnello lift from Pampeago.
