Concert of the Negritella Choir of Predazzo: evening of folk songs and Fiemme culture
The Negritella Choir of Predazzo, in Val di Fiemme, was founded in 1954 and is among the longest-standing singing groups in Trentino; it is also a founding member of the Trentino Choir Federation established in 1963. Countless concerts have featured it as a protagonist locally and nationally, with numerous events in almost all Italian regions, as well as several international trips. With its traditional repertoire of folk and mountain songs, the Negritella Choir addresses various themes that are very dear to alpine choirs in general: the sorrow of war, the hardships of peasant life, emigration, but also the carefree spirit and lightness of serenades and love stories.
