Set off from the wide countryside around Predazzo to discover one of the town's little wonders: its waterfall.
A simple and regenerating itinerary, ideal for those seeking a break in nature without straying too far from the village. After crossing the sunny pastures of Agritur Maso Lena, the trail enters a cool forest of fir trees, majestic trees that are the symbol of Val di Fiemme. The path, accompanied by the gentle murmur of a stream, crosses small wooden bridges that make the walk even more picturesque. In the final stretch, just before the waterfall, the forest becomes wilder: broken branches and fallen trunks silently bear witness to the force of storm Vaia, which profoundly marked these places in 2018. It is a landscape that speaks of the resilience of nature, capable of regenerating itself while preserving the traces of its history. The destination is the waterfall: a magical place just a stone's throw from the town centre.

Please note that the practicability of the itineraries in a mountain environment is strictly linked to the contingent conditions and is therefore influenced by natural phenomena, environmental changes and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this page may have changed. Before leaving for a tour, make sure the path you will approach is still accessible by contacting the owner of the mountain hut, the alpine guides or the visitor centres of the nature parks, the info offices of the local tourist board.
This easy and pleasant hike starts from the Predazzo sports field. Go up Via Lagorai towards the town centre, then turn right onto Via delle Fontanele. From here, continue along the slightly uphill dirt road that leads to the wide pastures around Agritur Maso Lena. The view stretches across the valley towards Ziano di Fiemme and the surrounding mountains. Continue along the dirt road past the farm, which becomes a path and, a little further on, rejoins a paved road. Keeping to the left, climb until you reach the private farm ‘Drio la Costa’. Just past the pretty farm, the road returns to a small path that enters the woods. Here, the atmosphere changes: the shade of the fir trees and the flow of the stream accompany you along a path dotted with characteristic wooden bridges. The path finally leads to your destination, the waterfall, a picturesque and refreshing spot. The spray of water rising from the rocks provides a pleasant feeling of coolness, perfect on hot summer days. Return along the same route to the junction for Maso Lena and continue downhill on the paved road. When you reach Agritur Colverde, turn right until you reach the starting point.
Predazzo can be reached by Trentino Trasporti buses from all towns in the valley.
Reach Predazzo and then the Sports Centre in Via Lagorai.
