Starting from the wide "countryside" of Predazzo, set off to discover a small wonder of Predazzo: its waterfall.

A simple and refreshing route, ideal for those looking for a nature break without going far from town. After crossing the sunny pastures of Agritur Maso Lena, the path leads into a cool fir forest, majestic trees symbolic of the Val di Fiemme. The walk, always accompanied by the peaceful murmur of a stream, crosses small wooden bridges that make the walk even more characteristic. In the final stretch, just before the waterfall, the forest becomes wilder: broken branches and fallen trunks still silently tell the story of the Vaia storm, which deeply marked these places in 2018. It is a landscape that speaks of the resilience of nature, able to regenerate while keeping traces of its history. The destination is the waterfall: a magical place just a few steps from the inhabited center.

Starting point

Predazzo - Sports Center

Directions

The simple and pleasant route starts from the Sports Center of Predazzo. Going up Via Lagorai towards the town center, take via delle Fontanele turning right. From here, continue on the dirt road with a slight ascent that leads to admire the wide pastures around Agritur Maso Lena. The view spreads across the valley towards Ziano di Fiemme and the surrounding mountains. Continue along the dirt road past the farm, which becomes a path and, a little further on, reconnects to an asphalt road. Keeping to the left, ascend until you reach the private farm "Drio la Costa." Just past the charming farm, the road returns to a small path that goes into the woods. Here the atmosphere changes: the shade of the fir trees and the flowing stream accompany you along a route dotted with characteristic wooden bridges. The path finally leads to the destination, the waterfall, a suggestive and refreshing spot. The water sprays rising from the rocks give a pleasant sensation of coolness, perfect on the hottest summer days. Return along the same route to the junction for Maso Lena and continue downhill on the asphalt road. Upon reaching Agritur Colverde, turn right until you reach the starting point.
