Relaxing walk in the forest covering Monte Corona, with a stop at the Doss Paion viewpoint and observation of the peaks of eastern Trentino and the vineyards of Giovo.
The route starts from the village of Ville, a panoramic hamlet overlooking the lush basin of the municipality of Giovo characterized by terraced vineyards. From the town center, where the remains of the Castello della Rosa are still visible, you climb towards the forest on the plateau overlooking the village and from there you take the road towards Monte Corona, passing the last apple plantations. Shortly after, you will see on the left the junction with the forest road to follow.
The route circles around the mountain and plunges into the dense forest of beeches, pines, and firs, until it reaches the junction from which the path that leads to the viewpoint at "Dos Paion" starts. At the summit, walkers find tables and benches for rest, views over the lower Val di Cembra and the mountain ranges of eastern Trentino, and the large metal cross guarding the entrance. It is a moderate climb with some ups and downs and a slight ascent in the part that reaches the summit.
