The milestones: Start in Ziano di Fiemme, a delicious stop at the dairy with a tasting of the famous Puzzone di Moena cheese, and return to the hamlet Zanon.
It feels like being in a somewhat magical kingdom from the very beginning, where snow and the moisture of the water turn into crystals and ice geometries. We are on the bank of the Avisio river. After the first bridge, you can see the village of Predazzo, dominated by the slopes of Monte Mulat, shaped by the Vaia storm in 2018.
Upon reaching the new bistro of the Predazzo and Moena social dairy, leave the cycle path traveled so far, cross the SS 48 (Caution! There is no pedestrian crossing) and head back towards Ziano.
The path you take runs parallel to the state road again for a few meters and then gently ascends towards the forest, allowing the hiker to completely isolate from the road and noise. The return takes place among the snowy meadows up to the hamlet of Zanon: you cross it while observing the historic houses before reaching the starting point.

This route is always cleared of snow, making it a comfortable route you can take at any time.
Caution when crossing the state road at the dairy bistro, there are no pedestrian crossings.
The route follows the cycle path that quickly connects the municipality of Ziano di Fiemme with that of Predazzo without any elevation differences. From the bridge of the hamlet Roda in Ziano, follow the orographically right bank of the Avisio river towards Predazzo. A few dozen meters after the quarry, you find yourself next to the Dolomites state road, near the Predazzo and Moena dairy, a bar with a shop selling both dairy products and regional goods.
After carefully crossing the street (no pedestrian crossing!) continue the walk in the opposite direction along the path that gently rises towards the meadows in front of the hamlet Zanon in Ziano di Fiemme. At the first junction, the path leads back to the starting point via Via Zanon, which descends again to the state road and to Via Roda, the end of our walk.
Warm clothing and suitable shoes.
