Short, simple and funny sledge slope in Obereggen.

The sunny sledge slope runs under the modern Telemix lift. Among the classic chairs that transport skiers, the ski lift also has gondolas, to comfortably bring sled fans back to the starting point.

After a few warm-up descents on the Absam slope you will be ready to whiz on the long "Obereggen" slope, which starts from the Epircher Laner mountain hut.

Safety guidelines

Children up to age 18 must always wear a helmet.

Helmets are nonetheless recommended for everyone.

Directions

The "Absam" sledge slope starts at the Epircher Laner mountain hut and descends for 750 m to the Absam mountain hut. The modern Telemix ski lift takes you quickly back to the starting point.

How to get there

From Predazzo reach Tesero and then take the road that leads to Passo Lavazè. From Cavalese go up towards Varena and continue towards Passo di Lavazè. From the pass, go down to Novale/Rauth and then turn right to reach the Obereggen ski resort.

During the day you can reach Obereggen directly on skis, starting from both Predazzo and Pampeago.

Where to park

There are several big parking lots at the start of the lifts.

Mountain boots, gloves, woolen hat and woolen scarf.
