Fascinating route, it allows you to cross two suggestive Tibetan bridges from which you can see the sparkling waterfalls of the Travignolo stream.
The route winds on dirt roads surrounded by spruce forests, within the Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino Natural Park. At times you can see the signs left by the storm Vaia (October 2018). The wood of the spruces that grow in these forests, also called resonance firs, is used for the construction of the soundboards of some musical instruments such as violins, guitars and pianos.
Possibility to return to Paneveggio with Trentino Trasporti public buses. Check timetable before leaving.

IMPORTANT
Along all routes, always pay attention to other people and vehicles coming from both directions. MTB routes are not for bikers only.
After windstorm Vaia in October 2018, forest roads are used also by heavy vehicles to transport wood.
When riding on streets, bikers have to respect the traffic code just like drivers.

Directions
The route starts at the Visitor Centre of the Paneveggio Natural Park. Once you’ve passed the building, follow the signs leading across the transparent bridge. Further along the road, on the right, you’ll find signs for the Forra del Travignolo (a short detour) which lead to the Tibetan bridge. Back on the main road, head down towards the hamlet of “Pulesi” and then follow the banks of the Fortebuso dam. Continuing downhill, after the dam, cycle across the Tibetan bridge, which is longer and higher than the previous one.
Once past the bridge, follow a short path with a few steps. This is where the alternative route to the original one begins: turn right and follow the dirt track uphill towards Bellamonte. When you reach the SS 50 main road, turn left onto it, pass through the village and head down towards Predazzo. Once past the Hotel Zaluna, take the small road on the left which winds down through meadows dotted with charming wooden huts. The final stretch of the route follows a path running alongside the bank of the Travignolo stream until you reach the bridge and the asphalted road crossing Predazzo village.
The return journey to Paneveggio can be made via the same route, or along the main road, or by public transport (check timetables before setting off).

The "Trentino Trasporti" public buses that connect Predazzo with Passo Rolle and San Martino di Castrozza make a stop in Paneveggio.
How to get there
From Predazzo take the state road towards Passo Rolle and San Martino di Castrozza. In Paneveggio, on the right, you will find the Visitor Center of the Natural Park.

What do I need to bring on my bike tour?
An adequate water supply according to your needs (considering temperature, possibility of refuelling and duration of the route)
Plenty of snacks (for example, dried fruit or energy bars)
Waterproof / Windproof jacket.
A spare top / spare socks. (Descending in a sweaty garment, will make you cold)
