Starting point
Cavalese
Directions

From the centre of Cavalese, head towards the main entrance to the Parco della Pieve and take Via Bresadola. The road, at first paved and then unpaved, was the old route of the Val di Fiemme railway. Continue downhill through a tunnel after which there is a beautiful view of the valley and surrounding mountains. Continue downhill along Via Gastaldo to a crossroads where you turn right, reaching the hamlet of Cavazzal. Follow the tarmac road to reach the subway that allows you to safely cross the road at the bottom of the valley. After crossing the bridge and reaching the football pitch you will find the cycle path: to the right it leads to the Cavalese waterfall and then to Molina di Fiemme, to the left it leads to Predazzo and the Val di Fassa.
