An adventurous route to discover the mountain in all its essence, walking through the forest and enjoying the breathtaking landscape, immersed in the nature of Malga Vernera.
The route takes place entirely in nature, starting from the forest setting of Baita Monte Pat, then continuing on the dirt path that leads to the wonderful landscape glimpsed from Malga Vernera. The meadows, the clearing, and the scent of the forest with the majestic pines will accompany the route in a sustained walk that will bring ecstasy to the senses. A therapy not only for the body but also for the soul, nature can give many emotions!
THE 10 RULES FOR HIKERS
As you might imagine, the accessibility of routes in a mountain environment is closely linked to current conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information contained in this sheet may have changed. Before setting off, find out about the condition of the route by contacting the refuge managers on your route, mountain guides, visitor centres of natural parks, and tourist offices.
After reaching the provincial road of Montesover, adjacent to the village church square, there is a paved and steep uphill road. Drive it by car until the left exit that leads to the parking lot and the forest setting of Baita Monte Pat.
From Baita, walk along the dirt road and continue uninterrupted to Malga Vernera.
To return to the starting point, follow the route back.
