As you can imagine, the passability of routes in a mountain environment is closely linked to current conditions and therefore depends on natural phenomena, environmental changes, and weather conditions. The itinerary runs along a route created by Austro-Hungarian military and is now the comfortable Provincial Road 31.
The starting point is Molina di Fiemme, located in the valley floor. The climb is very regular in the first part, then the slope increases sharply, especially in the final section.
Manghen Pass is a popular summer destination, a base for excursions in the Lagorai Chain: it connects the Val di Fiemme and the Valsugana.
