A very sunny route that takes place mainly in the southern part of the Val di Fiemme. Return to Predazzo on the comfortable cycle path.

A route that touches almost all the towns of Val di Fiemme. A nice mix of paved and dirt roads. Passages through pine, larch, and spruce forests. The return to Predazzo on the comfortable cycle path alongside the Avisio river gives a bit of fresh breeze to the pedal stroke almost entirely kissed by the sun.

Safety guidelines

IMPORTANT

Traffic on all routes is two-way; always pay attention to other vehicles and people. The routes are not exclusively for bicycles. Following the Vaia storm (October 2018), forest roads are used by heavy vehicles for logging and transporting timber.

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR SUSTAINABLE BIKING

  1. Plan your outing
  2. Always give way to hikers on foot
  3. Respect road signs, stop at traffic lights and do not ride against traffic
  4. Never leave marked routes, do not ride on closed trails
  5. Respect nature, the trail, plants and animals
  6. Do not litter
  7. Respect public and private property
  8. Do not travel alone in isolated areas

ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET!

Predazzo - sports center
Directions

From Predazzo, travel a short stretch along the state road and then take the cycle path that leads to Ziano di Fiemme following the signs for MTB route 936. After crossing the village, gradually gain altitude by pedaling on the firebreak roads behind the settlements of Panchià and Tesero. Upon reaching Località Stava, leave the MTB route 936 to climb a little more, cross the road, and then follow the signs for MTB route 928 that leads towards Varena. From here, follow the signs for MTB route 923 which, after crossing Varena and Daiano, climbs to Località Ganzaie and continues through the woods. After descending to San Lugano, take the cycle path and, still following the signs for MTB route 923, arrive at Cavalese. Here, leave MTB route 923 and start following the signs for MTB route 928 which lead towards the valley floor, then take the cycle path and comfortably return to Predazzo.

It is recommended to download the gpx track of the route and follow it on your smartphone.
