Up here, the view is truly spectacular, with green pastures and wooden mountain huts. The walk along the paved path is very comfortable, but also a lot of fun.

MONTAGNA SENZA LIMITI is a project that features trails accessible by electric wheelchair.

The sense of wonder is immediate. Even before stepping off the gondola, we immediately realize that our journey will be full of wonderful surprises. The route is easy and follows a paved road, which allows us to take in the scenery even while traveling in a basic electric wheelchair. In particular, you can see the Latemar Massif, with its bell towers; Mount Agnello; the Pala di Santa to the west; the two peaks of Corno Bianco and Corno Nero to the southwest; and the Lagorai Range toward the Val di Fiemme. Along the paved route, you’ll see an eye-shaped wooden structure—the so-called “Eye to the Dolomites”—and a wooden horse, as well as several mountain huts scattered about. You can also stop at Malga Epircher Laner to enjoy traditional dishes.

Engraved on the wooden eye is a quote from the famous South Tyrolean mountaineer Reinhold Messner: “The Dolomites aren’t the tallest mountains in the world, but they are the most beautiful.”
