Pleasant route to discover anecdotes and characteristic views among the streets and small squares of Ziano di Fiemme and its hamlets.

This easy circular walk is a real journey through time, between characteristic places and historical glimpses of Ziano di Fiemme. Step by step, thanks to the 20 panels located along the route, you immerse yourself in the history of the village, discovering curiosities about its buildings and inhabitants.

The route, about six kilometers long, can be completed in its entirety, or divided into three shorter routes, to be explored at different times.

A must-see is the stop at the prestigious Villa Flora, once the headquarters of the command of the thirteenth Austro-Hungarian mountain brigade. A rest on one of the numerous benches in the garden surrounding the villa invites you to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the place.

Ziano di Fiemme is known for the numerous fountains placed both in the village and in the hamlets; an invitation to quench your thirst with their fresh water.

Starting point

Ziano di Fiemme - Piazza Italia

Directions

Starting from Piazza Italia, there is a circular route that allows you to explore the village of Ziano di Fiemme and its hamlets. Leaving the church behind, you head towards Hotel Polo and take Via Coronella, along which the first panels are visible. Next, you stroll through the narrow streets of the hamlet of Zanon, then descend towards the main street. With a short detour on the route, you reach Villa Flora and its peaceful garden, then cross the road and head towards the hamlet of Roda. Here, next to the charming little church of Sant’Anna, you take the path through the meadows that leads to the upper hamlet of Bosin. Returning to the paved road, you descend along the street of the same name until you reach the cycle path, which ensures the connection with the hamlet of Zanolin. Walking through characteristic alleys, you finally return to the square of Ziano.
