Short bike route through the ancient vineyards, for enthusiasts of genuine products linked to tradition and the discovery of cultural and artistic gems.

A circular route designed for biking but also walkable (if you return on the same path). The watchword is "savor": the views, the company, the nature, the tradition, and the food and wine excellences of the Cembra Valley.

Starting from Lisignago, where you can already make a small detour to see the little church of S. Leonardo, follow the roads along the terraced vineyards of the Valley towards Cembra. Here you can savor various km0 products, from meats to wines, from vinegar to grappa, and visit the ancient village where the church of San Pietro deserves a stop. The return will be a pleasant downhill along the main road back to Lisignago.

Safety guidelines

The indicated roads are often travelled in both directions, so always pay attention to pedestrians, bikes, and cars that might come.

The passability of routes in a mountain environment is closely linked to current conditions and depends on natural events, environmental changes, and weather conditions. For this reason, the information in this leaflet may have undergone changes. Before setting out, check the status of the route by contacting the refuge managers on your route, mountain guides, visitors' centers of natural parks, and tourist offices.

Lisignago (parking near the main church)
Directions

The route starts from the village of Lisignago, near the main church where it is possible to leave the car. From here it is possible, with a short detour, to reach the little church of San Leonardo. Following the secondary roads crossing the vineyards, without many elevation changes, you reach the Maso Besleri vinegar factory. From here, after a climb, you reach the village of Cembra where you can find several food and wine points of interest, first among all the Zanotelli Winery and the namesake Butchery. Following the main road you arrive at Cembra Mountain Winery and from here it is possible to make a short detour into the historic center of the village to reach the church of San Pietro. Following the secondary roads you can find various restaurants, up to the Le Cavade farmhouse and the Pelz Winery below. For those who wish, from here it is possible to make a detour among the magnificent terraced vineyards and apple orchards and reach the Silpaca farm and Agricultural Company. The return is along the provincial road back to Lisignago or, for those who prefer, along the same route as the outward journey.
