A step-by-step route (6 recommended stops) to discover the Cembra Valley at a slow pace
The Cammino delle Terre Sospese (Suspended Lands Trail) is a 90-kilometer walk that joins villages, hamlets and farms in the Cembra Valley that appear suspended in time, to encounter the genuine identity of this valley far from the tourist circuits. Along this trail you will cross the valley, passing from the right bank to the left bank, passing several times the Avisio torrent, the undisputed protagonist of this fascinating path. You will discover a richness and diversity of natural and cultural landscapes that will surprise you: quarters, faces and ancient fountains in the small villages, terraced vineyards supported by bold dry stone walls, medieval churches, castles and historic connecting roads, small farms and old rural houses, mills, forges, sawmills... and then streams and silent forests. The Cammino delle Terre Sospese is not only a physical path, but an important community project, promoted by a spontaneous group of volunteers, which has given birth to the association Destinazione Val di Cembra ETS, to stimulate people to meet and discuss a more sustainable development of their territory, strengthening the spirit of an active and welcoming community. Therefore, we wish you a path full of encounters and relationships.
