A must route for lovers of cycling and road biking, the variety of the landscape and the intervals of climbs and descents give rhythm to the route and offer exciting challenges.
Circuit to discover the Valle di Cembra in all its characteristics: the typical morphology defined by the impetuous flow of the Avisio river, the extensions of vineyards supported by endless hectares of dry stone walls, the small farming villages perched on mountain slopes and the porphyry quarries, of dark red color, with which roads and houses are paved.
The itinerary reveals the soul of this valley, along with its genuineness and spontaneity.

From the village of Palù, go down via ai Molini, cross the settlement of Verla di Giovo, and continue climbing along the panoramic slope leading to the hamlet of Ceola di Giovo. Continue on the SS612 road until the entrance to the village of Faver di Altavalle, then take provincial road 101. The road descends steeply towards the bed of the Avisio river, crosses the Valley, and then rises into the Municipality of Segonzano.
Upon reaching Scancio di Segonzano, the hardest climb is overcome, continue along the right side of the Valley with slight ups and downs among small hamlets and woods until you reach the Stramentizzo dam, a natural connection between the two banks of the valley. Then return via the SS 612 towards Faver di Altavalle and then, along the same road as the outward journey, back to Palù di Giovo.
From the bus station in Trento take line B102 towards Cavalese (Trento - Cembra - Capriana - Cavalese), get off at Verla di Giovo and then take line B105 towards Palù di Giovo.
Coming from the A22 Brenner motorway, both from south and north, exit at Trento nord tollgate (distance from tollgate 22.5 km), travel the S.S. 12 del Brennero northbound up to the Lavis junction, then continue on S.S. 612 Lavis - Castello di Fiemme which leads to the Cembra Valley and then shortly before Verla di Giovo take the junction for Palù di Giovo.
