theatrical performance
The performance is the result of a long process of research and engagement, made up of conferences, travels, interviews, and workshops in schools. Many voices - including that of Langer - make up the lively, almost tangible mosaic on stage. Langer's texts resonate in the voice of actress Alice Cottifogli and in the video images of Alessandro Penta. Through the voices of boys and girls from Vipiteno, Merano, Rome, and Reggio Emilia, Langerian themes echo: ecology, peace, coexistence. A polyphony of voices to remember the South Tyrolean politician and activist who died by suicide thirty years ago, who this year would have turned 80 years old.
An encounter with the artists and the Alexander Langer Foundation will follow
