Easy walk in Paneveggio, discovering the legendary resonance spruce and its long journey from the forest to the musical instrument
What makes the Paneveggio forest special? Why is the wood from its spruces so precious? And why is it called the "Forest of Violins"?
You will find the answers to these and many other questions during an interesting walk and guided tour, where we will explore the legendary resonance spruce and its long journey from the forest to the musical instrument, meet those who take care of this extraordinary natural heritage, and reflect on the recent changes that have drastically transformed the landscape around us.
A unique opportunity to visit together the Park's Visitor Center, the fascinating xiloteca – a place where resonance wood is left to season – and the violin exhibition curated by the Paneveggio State Forestry Station. A tour through nature, music, and ancient knowledge, where every tree has a story to tell.
