Ready to discover the features of one of the most beloved and curious inhabitants of the high altitudes? The activity begins with a reading that will introduce us to the world of the marmot, revealing its lifestyle, social habits, and the incredible strategy of hibernation, a true masterpiece of survival to overcome the long snowy winters. Through projections of spectacular images, we will explore how these friendly rodents build their burrows and communicate with each other. The event will conclude with fun through an interactive game dedicated to the little ones: through miming and riddles, children will be able to immerse themselves in the typical behaviors of the marmot. A special opportunity for families to discover that behind a long sleep, there is a curious life waiting to be told.
The event will take place inside the spaces of the library.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT:
Curious eyes and a great desire to discover: these are the only requirements to participate in the series of events dedicated to families, proposed by the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park in collaboration with local libraries. Through themed readings, curiosities, games, creative activities, and outdoor walks, each meeting will turn into a small, great adventure discovering the Park, its inhabitants, and its diverse environments. From April to January, there will be many opportunities to learn while having fun, to experience nature as protagonists, and to take home new discoveries. Ready to embark on this adventure together?!
WHO IS IT FOR?
For families in the area... and curious visitors from everywhere!
Recommended age: from 5 years and up (but younger siblings are welcome)
WHEN?
One event per season for each location (duration about 2 hours). Discover the complete calendar with all events until January 2027!
WHERE?
Unless otherwise indicated, the meeting point is in the library, in Canal San Bovo, Moena, Predazzo, and Fiera di Primiero. Practical advice: depending on the proposals, events may be held both indoors and outdoors. Dress comfortably, in layers, and... ready to go out!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
Participation is always free and open to everyone! How to register: visit your library in person, or contact the Park (0439/026289 | visitatori@parcopan.org). Early registration is strongly recommended (some activities require a minimum number to take place). A small favor: if plans change at the last minute, no problem! Just remember to let us know so we can give the spot to other explorers.
