The Day of Contemporary Art is the major annual event promoted by AMACI – Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums that involves museums, foundations, public and private institutions, galleries, studios, and artist spaces to showcase the vitality of contemporary art in our country, powerfully highlighting, in just one day, the network of individuals and organizations that promote the contemporary throughout the year, both in Italy and abroad.
Inaugurated last July, “Three Acts. Pichler, Zhuka, Marinelli” brought together, for a tangible experience, Anneliese Pichler, Erjola Zhuka, and Giuseppe Marinelli, three artists from different generations and backgrounds who confront us with something that our complex minds make quite difficult: to look at things, to look at something, even to look at ourselves, simply allowing ourselves to be drawn into the endless and free narratives that spark from the intertwining of their works, the very first place where the wonder of being oneself manifests itself.
