A poetic and entertaining story that tells of the friendship between two children, Berto and Rosa, and a little silkworm named Bruno.
Together they experience carefree adventures, moments of play, care, and discovery, on a journey that leads them to learn about the life of silkworms and the history of sericulture. A journey among mulberry branches, delicate fabrics, and mysterious caverns, culminating in a clash with the wicked owner of a spinning mill: greedy, deceitful, and unscrupulous.
The performance is created using the language of Puppet Theatre, particularly utilizing tabletop puppets for their strong visual impact and their connection to the symbolic play typical of childhood.
