What does it really mean to work in the field? This activity will take us to the heart of zoological research to uncover the secrets and challenges faced by those who study wildlife. Accompanied by an expert, we will describe the profession of the zoologist and then delve into exploring an exhibit full of specimens and instruments.
We will have the unique opportunity to handle the objects and tools of the trade: from skulls and bones examined to decipher the characteristics of animals, to binocular microscopes that allow us to observe the invisible, and sophisticated equipment for wildlife monitoring through radiotelemetry. An interactive experience dedicated to those who want to understand how science studies and protects alpine biodiversity, transforming curiosity and technology into essential tools for nature conservation.
The appointment will take place inside the library spaces.
Participation is free of charge (reservation recommended).
