The exhibition "Olympic and Sports Wonders. From Garmisch 1936 to Fiemme 2013" opens at Villa Flora in Ziano, curated by Giuseppe Brigadoi, Silvano Morandini, Rufin Schulliam, Mariano Lollo, Luciano Dassala.
A journey through time that connects memory, territory, and shared values: stories of sports, the Olympics, people, and communities that have made their mark. Francesca Gerosa, councillor for education, culture, youth, and equal opportunities of the Autonomous Province of Trento, will be present.
Collecting plays a very important role in the preservation and promotion of the history and culture of sports. Especially for the year of the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, Villa Flora opens its activities with a temporary exhibition centered on "Olympic and sports marvels".
The path offers a journey between the 1936 Winter Games in Garmisch and the World Championships of 2013, hosted in Val di Fiemme for the third time, presenting a mix of Olympic stories intertwined with the great sporting tradition that has characterized this territory and these communities.
The exhibition is organized in collaboration with UICOS Italian Union of Olympic and Sports Collectors, AICO International Association of Olympic Collectors, the Historical Museum of the Alpine School of Predazzo, and the Historical Museum of the Guardia di Finanza.
