Dance At Monte in winter is the first winter contemporary dance festival in Val di Fiemme. Debates, walks, screenings, performances, and shows celebrate the mountain and winter sports, artistically reinterpreting them to tell engaging stories and bring forth a shared memory related to experiencing the mountainous territory between past, present, and future.

"My grandmother enjoyed telling lies, or at least, I liked to think it was a divertissement for her, and that in the end, her way was just a way to tell her truth. One day she told me: remember to look for the bear! Then life went by, and I forgot many things."
Camilla Parini deconstructs the idea of family. Are we what we remember? How important is the place we come from? And the stories we tell? By cutting and stitching together photographic memories and wearing a polar bear costume, Camilla shares an unpublished version of her personal story, playing between the real and the fantastic, between the inability to define oneself and the need to express oneself.
