On Sunday September 6, 2026, the lumberjack and forest festival will be held again, one of the most anticipated events of the year, where the skills of our lumberjacks come together with the joy of sharing, memories, and celebration.
The innovative concept involves forming teams of lumberjacks who will compete in five different disciplines, in addition to an optional individual climbing competition, all set in the scenario of the "dei Larici" stadium in Piazzol in Castello-Molina di Fiemme.
In the main competition, the teams must take turns facing the five specialties: felling the pole with a chainsaw, debarking the trunk with an axe, pruning the trunk with a chainsaw, cutting the trunk with a saw, and dragging the trunk with a pickaxe.
Professional lumberjacks, owners, members, employees, or collaborators of companies or organizations active in the Valle di Fiemme can participate in the competitions.
