A tragicomedy that delicately and ironically tackles the theme of the difficulty in “letting go” of the people we love.
The show interrogates the meaning of dignity in life and death, posing uncomfortable and profound questions about the legitimacy of making decisions for others.
Through dialogues and unpredictable situations, Ariateatro leads us into an intimate microcosm made of silences, fragility, unspoken words, and the constant search for an unstable equilibrium.
Toni and Julia are siblings. Toni is impulsive and accustomed to seeking shortcuts; Julia, on the other hand, is insecure and reluctant to make definitive decisions. When the veterinarian recommends euthanizing Toni's dog, Rita, the roles are reversed: Julia surprisingly proves to be determined, while Toni discovers his vulnerability. This change triggers a much deeper confrontation, involving their mother and bringing long-buried tensions to the surface.
